To create a unique design reminiscent of Renaissance medicinal flasks, we revived traditional glassmaking techniques with recycled glass. The embrace that protects Amázzoni gin had to be special, just like the liquid it cradles. The bottles are produced individually, and their perfection is measured only by the watchful eyes of the artisans. That's why even the small imperfections are precious details, witnesses to the entire production process.

Black and white. Day and night. Water and fire. We all have a different side, and Amázzoni is no exception. Two years after the launch of our first gin, a new nectar was born in our distillery, the first Super Premium gin produced in Brazil: an ambitious recipe, created by the new Master Distiller Alexandre Mazza, one of the founders of the brand, capable of offering in the glass a bolder, more structured, and complex London dry. The preparation has changed, where along with the classic cold infusion of botanicals, the introduction of some solid botanicals directly into the still was added. They are juniper, coriander, and Sicilian lemon peel.
From the recipe of Classic Amázzoni, two ingredients were removed (maxixe and cipó cravo), but accurately maintained balance between new and old world ingredients. The 51% alcohol content guarantees a more intense and full experience, more involving in lighter and more structured drinks. The handmade production method, the extremely high quality of raw materials used, and the passion for every step to reach the final result remained the same. The Waters

The water that springs pure from our land, the same as the rough rivers and rains in the forest. A precious, almost sacred liquid, an ingredient and inspiration in many Brazilian flavors.

The Hands

Those of Naía, raised in a cry for help when she was drowning; they were noticed by the great Boiúna who did not hesitate to sacrifice everything to be able to save his beloved mortal.

The Clouds

They represent Tupã, creator of the Universe and God of the wind. Boiúna's father who, in love with a mortal, was punished by Tupã, transforming him into a large black snake.

The Map

They describe the route of the Amazon River and the Rio Negro. Two rivers that, in the beginning, were united into a single river, but were then separated by Tupã to symbolize the impossible love of Boiúna and Naiá.

The Snake

It represents the story of the great Boiúna, who provoked the wrath of his father Tupã when he fell in love with the Indian woman Naiá. To calm the anger of the great God, the young Indian woman is thrown into the river. Boiúna loses her immortality when trying to save it.

Two years after the launch of Rio Negro - his first recipe as Master Distiller - Alexandre Mazza creates Brazil's first Old Tom gin, Maniuara. Newly born at the Amázzoni Distillery - twice honored at the World Gin Awards (2021) as the best Brazilian artisanal gin - Maniuara appears as a golden nectar, with a lively lemon aroma resulting from double distillation, with a classic botanical cold infusion followed by an infusion of lemon peel and lemon grass, directly into the pan.
It is the lemongrass itself, so deeply Brazilian, that gives Maniuara a bold personality and a touch of pure energy, refreshing due to the lowest alcohol content on the Brazilian market - just 38% ABV - and the delicate floral bouquet. The first taste is exciting, for all the senses; and the finish, peppered with bittersweet citrus notes, is a real call for a new sip. Despite being an innovation, Maniuara maintains the care in craftsmanship, the quality of raw materials, sustainability and the passion for the terroir of each source of Amázzoni gin: the forest. The color red

Red is the color of the body paint that young people wear during their initiation, to be recognized as warriors. It is also the color of the livery of the Maniuara ant, the little one that gives our gin its name.

The Ant

Endemic to the tropical forest, the Maniuara ant is a traditional element of Amazonian cuisine. The natives usually eat it both raw and roasted. When tasting its leaves, a spicy and deliciously refreshing taste appears on the palate.

Lemongrass

A genuinely Brazilian plant, lemongrass gives Maniuara a bold personality and a touch of pure energy.
